having fun with photoshop

All this week I have been trying to learn more and more of the computer softwear.  Yesterday I figured out how to use our scanner. Yeah! I went crazy and scanned a bunch of stuff in. I did the old pic of Dad from the late 20's. I wanted to restore it in photoshop. it had tons of mold on it from poor storeage over the years. Anyhow, I got it looking better. It probably still needs more work, but for now it's OK. Thought I culd do a digital layout with it.
I have been using lynda.com for their tutorials. pretty amazing stuff to learn.

This is an image hat i fun working on in photoshop. Still learning, so much to know. Started as aphoto from Wanakita in haliburton. I guess that is not so evident, however in case you wanted to know.

Here we go...

Today started out funny.  April fools jokes around here were really good.  Amanda took Oreo cookies to school filled with liquid soap, then put back together.  Tom saw the container of cookies early this a.m. and had to have one. He was not too impressed, but man, Amanda & I really laughed at that.  Fake blood was oozing everywhere. All in all a great morning with the kids. Dad's going to get a prank when he gets home from work!

I am going to try to add photos. Just have to figure out how.
